COVID 19 Update March 2022

Masks are still mandatory in our office due to government regulations until at least April 27, 2022.

Forgot your mask or don't have one we can provide you with a disposable surgical mask for a fee ($5).

Please call our office for an appointment and to answer the screening questions.  If we are unavailable please leave us a message and remember to include your name and your phone number (slowly and twice) so that we can return your call as soon as we are able.  If you are a “front line worker” or a “cross border worker” please let us know when you call.


If you think you may have even the slightest symptoms of a cold, call us and reschedule or cancel. Our appointment times are limited so please call us so others may have the opportunity to visit.

The guidelines we follow and precautions we take will limit us in staff, doctor and appointment availability but is designed to help keep Ontario safe.

An adaptation of the screening questions are as follows:

1. Have you received your final (second) vaccine dose more than 14 days ago?


2. Do you have ANY of the following symptoms?


        New Onset of Cough/Worsening Chronic Cough

        Shortness of breath

        Decreased or loss of taste or smell

  If an adult over 18 years:

        Unexplained fatigue/lethargy/malaise/muscle aches

  If a child under 18 years:



3.  Do you have a confirmed case of COVID-19, had close

contact with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19,

or been told to isolate?


4.  Have you had close contact with anyone with acute respiratory illness OR traveled outside of Ontario

in the past 14 days?


5.  IF you answered NO to Question #1 or YES to Question #4 because of close contact with a confirmed or suspected

case of COVID-19, did you wear the required and/or recommended PPE according to the type of duties you

were performing (e.g., goggles, gloves, mask and gown or N95 with aerosol generating medical procedures

(AGMPs)) when you had close contact with a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19?

If you answered yes to questions 2 to 4 then please visit  Southwestern Public Health

If you are a “front line worker” or “cross border worker” and answered yes to question 4.

To summarize:

1.Call the office and answer the screening questions.

2.If you are coming for an appointment, review the  “Returning for Treatment - A Patient’s Guide”, and you must have a mask, and wear it.

3.Sanitize your hands when you arrive, before your paperwork and when you leave.

4.Wash your hands when you get home.

5.Keep in touch. We may call you to see how you are. Don’t hesitate to call us.
